One of Liz’s favorite parts of traveling the USA is meeting other small businesses focusing on dog lovers! Discovering small business owners’ unique ideas and their products is a great way to make connections and find some fantastic items to share with the MJ family!
Today we are looking at two locally-owned businesses that offer some incredible products made right in Florida!
Delilah’s Treats
Beth is the owner of Delilah’s Treats and an avid dog lover! She currently works as a mobile dog groomer and runs her bakery making all-natural dog treats. Her daughter, Milania, is the perfect helper. These two make an amazing mother-daughter duo! Their dog, Delilah, is the official taste tester for Beth’s creations!
Why Natural Ingredients?
Beth wanted to create tasty, homemade, and all-natural dog treats that would not cause issues for pets with allergies. All of Beth’s treats are free of dyes, salt, added sugar, grains, and preservatives! All of her treats are also low-calorie, so even the chunckiest of doggos can enjoy them without the fear of excessive calories.
What are the dogs saying?
One of the biggest things that drew Liz to Beth’s treats was how soft and fluffy they were! They are easily broken into pieces and her dogs adored the taste and consistency! Many times Liz has ordered treats from bakeries that show up and are very hard and crunchy, which is not ideal for training, and many dogs just aren’t fans of munching on hard dry biscuits. Mary Jane and Titan were very eager to participate in some fun training giving their approval on just how tasty these treats really are!
Not only are these treats dog approved, but they’re healthy too! Beth shared her favorite out of her 5 different flavors, Strawberry Coconut! Each ingredient is chosen to add nutritional value to the treat:

Chia Seed to help with inflammation
Coconut Oil benefits the Skin and Coat
Coconut Flower is a great grain-free substitute
Honey is known to assist with allergies and also is a great sugar substitute
Mom and Daughter Business
Milania loves helping her mom with making treats! Her favorite part is spreading out the dough and stamping the treats with the cookie cutters. It’s so much fun picking out cute shapes for each treat.

Meet April her love of the sea is rivaled only by her passion for working with rescue dogs. This is exactly how she found Bailey, a sweet fun-loving pup who enjoys going on adventures! Bailey was April’s inspiration for SeaFlower Co. a hobby that quickly bloomed into a business. April was tired of constantly buying those plain old nylon collars and leashes that never lasted long and didn't show off Bailey's unique and fun personality!

April was kind enough to give Liz a sneak peek of her NEW spring patterns! To say that she LOVED them would be an understatement! Liz couldn’t choose a favorite if she tried!
